June 2006 Yard Sale
On June 24, we held our fourth annual Community Yard Sale on the grounds of Cory School from 8 am to 1 pm. We advertised it in local papers and online, and had a steady flow of shoppers.As you can see from the photos below, board members were successful in figuring out how to put up a big tarp, which had been bought the day before. We sold snacks and drinks there. We also had some spin art activities for kids (though some of the board members got into it as well). And we even had a visit from the Garage Sale Queen -- though she traveled incognito, we did spy her chariot.
